The MG Car Club was established in 1930 in Abingdon, England, on the site of the original MG factory. The Club has a membership exceeding 10000 spread over 103 centres throughout the world. The South Cape Centre based in Knysna on the Garden Route was established in February 2007. There are currently 87 members, with over 110 cars.

Join the MG Car Club South Cape Centre for the 2028 Diaz Indaba in Mossel Bay from 1–3 May 2028.
Celebrate a century of MG sports car heritage with fellow enthusiasts on the beautiful Southern Cape coast.
The Diaz Hotel Resort and Spa will host the event, offering sea-facing accommodation. A full programme is planned, with leisure options including a steam train trip or a visit to a local game reserve. Enjoy MG camaraderie and the opportunity to explore the surrounding region, from coastal scenery to the Little Karoo.
